No it won't because it isn't factory stock. It is too personalized. People want in this case a car from Dodge not from Bubba who rewired everything and made a mess of things with modifications that made the Challenger unreliable.
    i.e Corvette:chewie:
We all have different personal tastes so it is best to keep it factory original stock and not throw away $$$ from the get go and can't sell later.:snoopfacepalm:

I customized my Challenger, mostly with Billet pieces, but I kept all of the original parts. I can quickly return it to stock.

Also, I wouldn't worry about big appreciation unless you have something special, like a Demon, Super Stock, Redeye, Jailbreak or Hellcat. After all, Dodge built over 500,000 Challengers since 2008.

As a comparison, only 165,437 Challengers were built between 1970-1974 and almost all were daily drivers. Back then very few owners thought to save them.

Yes but now look at one of those that was kept in nice factory condition.:chewie: Value is up and much easier to sell.

Agree that there are obnoxious modifications that spoil a car and there are 'level up' modifications that make a daily driver more fun to be behind the wheel. If you go for a homerun on a Hellcat or Demon, it's someone else's car. If you take a 6.4L trim and upgrade it with your modifications, especially with ones you can physically see\hear, then your car is really 'Your' car. Have No Faith in Factory Warranties. They'll find a reason not to hold up their end of the contact. So why limit yourself? Is a Front and Rear Strut Tower Brace going to void your warranty? Oil Catch Can, Rear Tension Arm, Fasty's Garage Inlet lights, Borla Atak Exhaust, basically anything that doesn't need a custom tune and doesn't effect the sight line on the exterior should have a Green light.

In the end I have always found that I end up putting everything back to factory appearance and what little modifications I might have done like ram air package with K & N filter which wouldn't pass my states emission laws on visible inspection even though it past the sniff test on machine.

Now will a catch can void the new car warranty?
Why didn't they put it on from the factory from the get go?
What is the purpose of the catch can? Is it NECESSARY?

Absolutely NOT!! it's almost a joke with the 'must have' items on the internet.
You should see the LS forum for my Trans Am. Catch cans are basically required according to all the 'experts', and 'stock' Trans Ams don't exist anymore. After 21 years with NO catch can and "stock', my Trans Am is alive and well and just completed a nearly 6,000 miles Rte 66 trek last Spring.
Just leave the car alone if that is what you like. I do.

For a street car the V6 or 5.7 is very good choice. You can use them daily with out breaking the bank. To much traffic everywhere to really use the full power of a 500 - 700+ hp car on the street. Maybe if you had a track nearby.

Well at least those are the lower cost options and easier on fuel. Then again a Honda Accord, Toyota Camry can out accelerate a 5.7 and the SXT.

What about the dreaded "HEMI TICK", LIFTER FAILURES, and MDS problems?. The 392 is great for fast acceleration to merge onto the freeway.:driver:

The MDS can be turned off, from what I have heard this is a plug in device call tazer that goes into your OB2 port. I have 2 V6 motors and never had a tick. Though I heard complaints about that. But I am good with the oil changes on all my vehicles. They are all good motors, it's like anything in production now and then you will have failures
