First 600 miles....Only 11.7 MPG ??

If he did that he couldn't go out get'n crazy

 

I've been getting between 20-24 combined average mpg on my 2021 scat pack 1320. But, most of my driving is highway. In city driving, less than 20. Usually I've averaged low 20s per tank.

 

2021 Scat Pack with Auto trans. 1600 miles approx 19-20 mpg on highway. My average is close to 15 due to letting it idle outside the garage. I need to eliminate a few variables to pin point the actual MPG in town versus Fwy. I do several 0--80 mph frequently on a turn out where I live.

 

That’s about right, the 1320 has a bit of a torque converter higher stall, so that will burn extra gas daily, but it’s only 8 speed auto, so MDS will kick in quite often. There is no “sport” mode , there is “drag” mode which unlike “sport” mode you would never drive around in all day, even though it’s freakin awesome.

 

Remember excessive idle is very bad for the 6.4

 

I only have 800 miles on my 2021 Scat Pack 1320 mostly driving the snot out of it to break it in and it got 20.8.

 

My 2012 YJ makes about 25 most of the time. my city is about a mile long with two light so I don't get much city driving. If i drive about 50-60 (heavy deer country) it is on 4 cyl a lot. Then it is even better.....

 

I do like to turn it on occasionally, ya know, for that extra "pizazz" when cruising.
