    What do you guys think of flames on modern Challengers? To me, they only look good on street rods and have no connection to the classic Challengers of the 70s.

    I never cared much for them on 1970s muscle cars and the same for today's Challenger's. They are not for me.

    Of the 3 challengers, the last one is the best. #2 is too retro, and like you said, only belongs on street rods. #1 looks gaudy to me. #3’s kind of cool, nice effect, but I still wouldn’t want it on my car. JMHO.

    Agreed.

    They are not necessary on an already-beautiful car. Remember the old school hot rods were butt-ugly cars of ugly buttness that were as exciting as a brick to look at. Almost ANY paint job on them was an improvement.

    On the Challenger, it's like a tattoo artist doing his "art" on the face of a supermodel. To what end?
