    My neighbors named my car. They call it "Kathy's Kitchen," because I used the money saved to remodel our kitchen to purchase my SRT. :)

    I thought long and hard and finally decided to call mine "the Challenger." Why? Well that is what is written on the side of the car.

    That's appropriate. The Challenger acquired its name in 1970 because it was the last ponycar to enter the race against the Mustang, Cougar, Camaro, Firebird, Javelin, AMX, and Barracuda.

    That may be true but Dodge had a car in 59 called the "Silver Challenger", so it was already an established name for them.

    Mine is called "Hombre" after the bad a$$ character played by Paul Newman in a film of the same name. Watch it sometime, it's really good.
