Had my cats replaced and PCM flashed Friday. It doesn’t seem to have changed anything. The only issue is the exhaust tips are now uneven and sticking out the rear further than the. Factory finish. I’ll get her on the lift some rainy day to make adjustments.

Well since it was raining this morning I re-set the exhaust tips so they are even. One still stick out a hair further but nothing to noticeable. Had a bear of a time getting the tips loosened off to adjust them. The clamps were loose but it seemed like the tips were seized. Took them right off to clean and wax them up and put some copper anti-seize on the pivot. I also removed the 4 stickers that were on the new cats...they were burning off and stunk.

Last picture that wouldn’t fit in last post. 68AB51A5-B5C4-4969-B385-90C76624DF70.jpeg

There’s really not much adjustment in the exhaust system since they are connected at the X pipe and have a welded cross brace at the mid mufflers. I can live with it now!

Ya, I cant deny that but the pictures dont really dont do justice to how much difference it made.....and my wife who could really care less said it looks better.

Or maybe she was just humouring me...time for another coffee and Baileys..:drink_nl:

Hi guys/gals..I need some advice..about the recall on the catalytic converter.
My dealership replaced it a few weeks ago and I drove her a few times after and everything seemed fine.
It also seemed to have a little bit more ggggiddy-up. . Might be in my head...

I drove her on Sunday and I did get on her a bit -merging traffic (yea, yea that was it merging traffic)
I’m hearing something like a fluttering sound. How I can better explain-I know I did this when I was younger..putting a baseball card through your spokes.
That’s the sound..At first couldn't tell if it’s the back or front of the car.

Yesterday it sounded like the front - Maybe the exhaust manifold? Leak or ??
I’m going out to get a sound bit And I’ll post it in a few.
