How do you guys feel about side window louvers? Personally, I do not care for them.

Backlight louvers were offered on the 1970-1971 Challengers and 'Cudas. Rear "opera" windows, however, were only offered on the 1973-1974 Chargers.

Hate louvers of any type on the modern cars. Loved them on the third gen!

That Charger is about the ONLY one that has looked good on.

While I don't HATE the looks of it on the Challenger, it is not for me.
Too "Glossy Plasticy cheap" for me.

just another object to decrease the vision with on our cars. quarter windows are small enough to give you problems.one reason why I have the small convex mirrors on my outside rear views. . but that is just the aging in me and making sure on being safe when changing lanes and such.

I put louvers on cars back in the 70’s. Not now.

I feel the only car that should have the rear window louver is the 67-70 Mustang Fastbacks and 71-73 Sportsroofs. They looked like they belonged on the Mach 1 and Boss models.

I’m not a fan of window lovers either.

Tom, Do you have a connection to the Charger in your pic? My dad owned the same car in Vancouver, Canada, 73 SE Brougham with identical coloring (interior, vinyl on roof, exterior), 440 auto with factory rally wheels and electric sunroof. Waiting on E & G rear window louver for the Challenger.

    Agreed!
Of course that didn't keep me from putting them on a number of other cars for myself and customers.

No, my brother had a 1973 Charge SE, with a 400 c.i. engine. Here is a photo of his car.

The 1973 Charger was his second one. His first was a 1968 Charger, with a 383 4 barrel. I had a 1971 340 'Cuda. We were the Mopar boys!
