I"m using 87. No one mentioned 89. Do you see a difference? Also, I'm a GL AWD. Sports mode kicks in AWD.
The 89 gave it a tiny boost. Adding the K&N drop in, not the CAI, with the 89 made a bigger difference. I'm running steady 5.7's. Not bad for an SXT. I don't know if it will effect every challenger the same way. My buddy's shop is putting in a Magnaflow exhaust next weekend. They are doing it at cost, fully installed for $400. I'll post new times once it's done.
My son finally returned my car. He backed out of letting me put the exhaust on his. He thought it might be too loud for everyday. Has anyone put the Hellcat intake on their scat pack? I don't have the Shaker hood and am wondering if it is worthwhile.
in my 2009 RT , my 60' will vary from 4.5 to 6.0 at times. depending on how much gas I have in it and if my trunk is full of stuff.
Wow, that's a big variance. You must have had a lot of weight in there to knock a second and a half off. My scat Pack 4.2- 4.4 consistently. Had a couple 4.5's. My sons SXT is steady 5.7's.
Finally put the magnaflow exhaust on the SXT. With the K&N drop in and 89 octane it is running steady 5.5's.
My best is 6.1 I launched in 2 gear, sport mode, and about 60 degrees out side 5.7 true shaker 8speed . I’d try less gas in tank and 2nd full traction control
Getting Launch Mode to work in a manual is a pain in the ass. If I was going to race someone, by the time I got it to engage after several attempts of hitting the clutch and gas just right the race would be over. Anyway my best 0-60 in my Scat Shaker is 4.5
