Limited Edition Buzz Models

Dodge has opened up ordering for the final year of the current Dodge Challenger (LA) and Charger (LD). It also has launched a new “Horsepower Locator” tool online, to help those who wish to purchase a limited edition ‘Last Call’ model, as those models will not be available to order and instead will be allocated to the brand’s top-performing dealers.

The Dodge Horsepower Locator, available at DodgeGarage.com, allows buyers to easily search all Dodge dealerships by zip code, model, special-edition model, and trim level for Dodge Challenger and Charger vehicle order availability.

 

The 7th and final "Last Call" Special Edition Challenger that was scheduled to debut at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking place on Nov. 1-4, has been delayed several months. Originally, it was speculated that the delay was caused by possible supply chain issues. Now, Tim Kuniskis explained that the debut was pushed back by engine failures. Specifically, 7 engines were blown while conducting duty cycle testing. This is a very strenuous test of a production street engine in which it is run for hours of consistent wide-open throttle and other extensive high rpm stints.

Kuniskis, however, stated that the issues have been fixed and they are on track for an introduction in the first quarter of 2023.
