My Engine bay mods

    This winter is killing me. It doesn't seem to end.
    But since I can't drive her, I keep trying new ideas. Now I redid the center of my engine cover (not the Terminator). I didn't really like the way the "Coyote Duster" decal looked, it was bubbling. I also hated the way the center had the "5.7L V-8" letters.

    So I did this

    Smoked black Lexan, orange anodized aluminum cup washers, stainless screws and a new decal. I think next will be lighting under it

    Also notice the fuse cover. I turned it into a faux battery with cut down battery vent caps and a 1957 Chrysler battery decal

    Looks great! How did you paint the body panels? spray paint, or body shop?

    The plum crazy parts are painted from a spray can that I had a local body shop supply company mix up. The black is Dupli-Color engine enamel.

    The cover now also has lights under it.
