I am also considering buying a Challenger. I am looking at either a 2012 SRT8 or a 2015 Scat Pack both with manual transmission. What are thoughts and concerns on the 2012 SRT8?
Last month my little brother came in to town with some friends. One of his buddies dad is a driving instructor for a high end sports car company. He wanted to check my car out, due to politics he’s not allowed to drive what he doesn’t promote. However I’m in middle nowhere so I threw him the keys and said let’s go. His response after a proper exercising of my car was it’s “mans car”. He was genuinely thrilled with it. Of course the typical body roll and diving in to corners was not up to his standards. He gave a lot props to the magnetic suspension and brembo brakes. But overall he was impressed with my scat pack. This is a guy that races half million dollar cars on road courses. He was thrilled to step in to what I consider a drag car and had ball with it. He couldn’t get over the mid range power and how fast it demanded another gear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
