    Same thing happened on my 97 cummins with a manual.......lost boost on the shift.........but it came back very quickly once you shifted....

    The BMW N54 engines 06-16 (predecessor to the N55) are the most economical to get to 500hp from 300hp (requires a $1500 US investment in parts and a few hours labor). This is possible due to their factory forged internals and twin turbo set-up. Many take them to 800hp and beyond for just a little more of an investment. I own two 07's (an auto and a manual) and have about 14k US invested in each. The 335's are an amazing car value!
