I will stay with great lakes Chemical paint coating and rustptoofing.
The one time paint application fee me gets 6 additional free buff and shine appointments to use any time. My 8 and 10 year old autos look better than the day they were new before the coating.

I have not had the opportunity or the time needed to try the solution that Gtechniq sent me. I want to make sure that I have enough time to try the solution properly. I have elderly family with issues at the moment and I am the only nearby relative to take care of him, so a lot of my free time is dedicated to that at the moment. I will post whether or not the solution helped or not. Ironically, I just found out that my neighbor used the same guy I did to coat his new F150, I'll try to keep in touch with him to see how his performs. When he told me about using the guy, he asked if I was still happy, I just told him to be careful with his "courtesy first wash", that he pretty much ruined my coating by doing it. Seeing the video that was posted on here, I now realize that it apparently won't last as long as advertised anyway. I didn't see the coating that was used on my car specifically in the video, but none of them seem to work exceptionally well after the year and a half mark.

If it is a yourself spray on coating I would avoid it.
I talked with a couple of local detail shops and they wanted around 3500.00 to apply a professional covering.

For 3500 bux, you can buy yourself ALL the professional detail tools etc. and be able to do it any time you wish.

While we're at it, get some cerium powder and polish all the external glass on your car, using new pads often to avoid bringing in an annoying single micro stone to put swirly scratches in it.

A windshield without a single rain spot is a wonderful thing.
