    solid work. I have rust in the same spot on my 2013 R/T after losing the side shirt due to running over something I didn't see. I'll pass on trying to do that work. A friend of mine has a solid body guy who works on his street legal drag cars.

    I was actually expecting a fair amount of criticism especially for my lousy welding. I appreciate the kind words. The main reason I post this kind of information is that I hope it will help someone else or inspire them to try it themselves. When I was young, married with small kids, I could not afford to pay others for car repairs. As a result, I was inspired to try and do maintenance myself. I credit Dad for most of that, but also had encouragement from other car enthusiasts.
