Scheduled Maintenance - Oil & Filter Change

    Drive it on the freeway then after parking drain it hot. Just make sure you don't burn yourself.

    When I pull the drain plug, I quickly manoeuvre a 5L jug under there, and get it totally full, leaving about 1 quart (litre) to drain into the oil catch. If the miles were low, This 0W-40 oil looks way too nice to dump, so I re- use it in our old 3.5 Intrepid !

    I buy my own oil, usually at Walmart , and have a good stock of oil filters in my garage. A lot cheaper than buy at auto zone and other stores like that, I can get 1 jug of oil and 2 quarts for just under $35, I go to a friends oil change business and he changes mine for $18. I use to change my own oil, but back and other problems don’t permit me laying on the floor. Like the old saying, if you have to get on the floor , you better have a plan on how to get back up. Lol
