    I want to put together a buyout to rescue the historical best brand from the light-in-their-ballet-slippers euroscum.

    It should be easy to arrange now that they have driven the stock into the ground.

    unless a US buyer comes along to take over the old Chrysler that we have once known Chrysler is toast. They have been picked over like roadkill, they have no sense of direction. It's like a old girlfriend in high school we got over her and moved on.

    TKs garage, wanted to put a group of investors like us together, and do a hostile take over. Must have been a pipe dream, never heard nothing more about it.

    The best rescues are done by individuals that like the brand. They did the same for Lionel trains at one time.

    Great news for Dodge fans!

    The Detroit News reported, on Dec. 9, that Kuniskis is coming back. He had retired in June after 32 years with the company.

    Effective Monday, the 57-year-old is back leading the Ram brand. He takes over for Chris Feuell, who will continue to lead Chrysler and now also assumes responsibility of overseeing Alfa Romeo's North American operations.

    Stellantis has faced a series of leadership changes and departures this year amid declining profits and sales, with the highest-profile being CEO Carlos Tavares' resignation about a week ago. The automaker began a process to find a replacement and formed an interim committee led by John Elkann, the Stellantis board of directors chairman, to run the company in the meantime.

    Hopefully, he will re-hire the engineers that were let go in Tavares' slash and burn campaign earlier this year. As a start, I read that he is bringing a couple guys back that were in charge of the RAM line-up and some from the performance division.

    Also, I saw a TV commercial for the Daytona Charger. Coincidence?

    Stellantis’ U.S. sales struggled under Tavares' leadership, despite increases in the overall market. That included a 17% year-over-year decline for the company through the third quarter and a 24% sales decline for Ram.

    Guaranteed Tavares received a golden parachute! And all the consumer will pay for it .
