Welcome to the forum. You did a great job on your Challenger.
Intimidator did a nice catch on the driver's side pentastar. I noticed it right away too. I think most guys that are from the "Vanishing Point" era also know that the pentastar was only mounted on the right fender. Question is if they notice it on your car and better yet, if they tell you it's "incorrect". Some guys live to walk around and point this stuff out. It would be interesting to leave them on for a year and see if guys notice. You might get tired of telling them why you have two. :)
Looks good either way. Thank god for 3M automotive tape!

You might like seeing my white Mustang with my R/T in the garage. I still think a white R/T (as much as I would have liked it) would have been too much. I'm glad I went with the Go Mango. That's me anyway.

Your Vanishing Point Challenger looks really nice, good job! I'm a mopar man and have been driving them since 1967, I wonder how many on here know why the pentastar emblem is on the lower passenger side of chrysler vehicle's. I know the reason but would like to see how many other mopar folks know

Kowalski, I have to say your car looks much better with the factory decals removed! Not sure what Dodge was thinking with that set of stickers.

I read that the passenger side pentastar emblem informed people walking down the sidewalk that the car was manufactured by Chrysler - connecting Chryslers, Dodges and Plymouths together.

OR... It was that on the assembly line, the guy on the left (driver) side of the car couldn't bend over far enough to drill a hole low enough for the emblem.
