At the site? Well new members are coming in, and I learned how to work around the hiccups. Hopefully this cozy little site stays around.

Interesting. We have an Escape that I can smell a coolant odor from but doesn't visibly leak fluid when wife parks it in garage. It has produced some steam on occasion when being driven, requiring a minor coolant top-up the first time.

I detected where the leak was the first time I looked at the car, and told them to fix it. They fed my BS that it's just residue smell. But I could smell it at that very point. Is the Escape an EcoBoost, with all the spaghetti or cooling lines going the turbos?

If you are adding coolant then you have a leak.

And of late the coolant reservoir level has increased. Time for further investigation. 08 6 cyl.

Touched up the wheels, some aluminum missing, but no one would know unless they were looking, came out okay. At a distance not noticable.

Actually, it's a little milky looking, because I just put the clear coat on it.

Lucky the curb didn't take out the aluminum valve stem.

I thought they stuck out, someone put some long caps on, and that is what sticks out further than the rim, and tire. The Caps say GMC on them, LOL.
