I don't care for the way water gets under the hood and trunk lids. If you happen to open either one after a rain or washing, you get wet at the hood and water runs into the trunk. Needs better drainage.

    1. No off button on the radio.
    2. Exhaust is too quite.
    3. Previously noted trunk water drip post washing.
    4. Blind Spots - Brings me back to my original '72.
    5. Cheap body - dents and dings too easily.
    6. Heated seats should be on same screen as temperature settings.
I love my Challenger but there is always room for improvement!

It didn't come from the factory as a convertible, so I had to do it myself.

better than OBD1. What error code? Says misfire but not what was causing it? Simple diagnosis.

So I was new to the Challenger. Bought a new 2020 R/T 50th anniversary back in late February. I enjoyed driving the car, but a couple of small pet peeves caused me to sell the car a couple weeks ago:
    1) “Automatic” windows go down automatically, but have to hold the switch to the up position. First world problem, I know, but I have a 2011 Ram truck that is auto up and down - can’t be too tough.
    2) With the keyless FOB, you can’t just grab the handle and open the locked door - have to hold fingers in handle, wait for the unlock, then open. I have a few other cars (Toyotas), you just grab and open.
    3) the very dark interior and relatively long dash mad me feel like I was sitting in a pit and felt like my view was quite obstructed.

Having said all that (and there were a couple other minor things I just don’t recall), the car was fun to drive and I enjoyed the stock exhaust system sound. It is/was a sexy looking car.

Wow!! You sold the car so quick. Your 3 reasons seems like minor annoyances overall or something you would have noticed during a test drive. Unless you go through cars quick or just changed your mind, I am somewhat surprised considering your last few sentences of enjoying the car.

I'm also curious, like MikeT above, what you bought instead that seems better.

One of my stupid mid-life crisis moments. The rest of the story is even sillier.
There was a bunch of friends at church that also had Challengers that inspired me to look into one - didn’t really drive any of theirs. I did test drive a few around my hometown in central Iowa, but needless to say, not all R/Ts drive the same. I decided I wanted one and looked for the color I wanted. I located the color combination I wanted (found out later it was missing other options I wanted - dynamic cruise, rain sensing wipers, etc) in Texas.
In talking with the dealership, they pretty much insisted on wiring the money ahead of time. I flew down there with the expectation of driving it home. It didn’t feel as nice as others I’ve driven but I thought I’d get used to it, so moved forward with the purchase. I think that initial disappointment led me down the path of discontentment.

Anyway, sold the car. It was a fourth car for my wife and I, so I’m not replacing it in the near future. 3 years ago I bought my pre-midlife crisis car - a 2003 Lexus SC430 hardtop convertible. It needs some issues resolved but has been a fairly fun car to drive. Not as much power as the Challenger, but still fun and a fourth the cost.

Sorry for the long post, I get wordy.
