Check out this photo of a guy who spent over $3,000 to wrap his Challenger in chrome. It's definitely not for me. All I can say is that it sure looks different!
If it was all chrome, I would think ok, cool. The black at the bottom throws it all off. If it was all matte black like the bottom, I would think, ok cool. The 2 colors do not go well together.
I think the purpose of the black wrap is to visually lessen the side width of the car by playing a trick with your eye. If you just look at the chrome part, the Challenger looks more like a 1970 from its profile.
I'm not a fan of the chrome wraps, an outfit around here did a Camaro, Charger and a Mustang for a local car show with no additional colors at all, just chrome. Flaws were way to easy to see and did nothing for the cars at all.
