So I completed the Scat Pack 1 Performance upgrade on my 15 Shaker Plus. I love the sound of the Cat Back Exhaust, it's perfect for me. Great sound, no drone. Quiet at highway speeds. Loud when you stand on it. Its respectable. The CAI came standard on the Shaker, I upgraded the plastic air tube to the aluminum MOPAR tube. Looks good The PCM did make a noticeable difference in Lot of aspects, put it in sport mode immediately leaving the dealer. First of all my Butt Dyno feels an increase of power. It's my butt Dyno so keep your facts, figures and spreadsheets to yourself. The throttle is definitely more responsive, from the first light I spun the tires without wanting to, just using what was normal pedal pressure. it's immediate power from a stand still and when cruising at 50, I stand on it and there no annoying delay, feels like an immediate downshift and immediate power. Transmission shifts are smoother and sound like a manual shift without lifting off the gas Before when standing on it it got a growl back from the exhaust when shifting, that's gone, it just smoothly shifts under full power. Not going to do any 0 to 60/100 tests until I've driven the car for a while, let it all get used to me. I am happy, I did it right, I got all 3 upgrade components and the tech put on the badge for me, which was in the box. Wasn't gonna put upgrade badges on without buying the stuff like some apparently do.. Was it worth it? It was worth it to me. It didn't turn it into a HellCat, but against a stock RT, I have the advantage and it was still a lot cheaper than a Scat Pack Shaker Plus
Bob do you know why the scat pak packages are only for 2011-2016? Would love to do it for my 2010. Although I already have a cold air intake. They say the 6 speeds exhaust system is already pretty good.
Any updates on your experience with the kit? I read that you unfortunately have to buy each kit to get to stage 3, was hoping to just jump to stage 3 as I'm looking for more power for a nice price but not if I have to progressively buy each kit at about $2k each then up to $4k+, I'd just buy a supercharger and it'd be cheaper
