Racer X has been having bogging problems with his Demon 170 at the track.

He took the car to his Dodge dealer and they discovered the following trouble codes:

P1524- Oil pressure out of range. Camshaft Advance/Retard Disabled
P000B- Bank 1 Camshaft Position Slow Response
P032F- Camshaft Engine Producing Insufficient Torque

The techs at the dealership are puzzled and have elevated it as a Star Case.

It will be interesting to see what the Dodge engineers come up with.

Another Stellantis / Dodge disaster. I posted a couple of questions on his YouTube channel and he won’t answer.

Do you really think it's his car?

Yes. He is an active drag racer.

He can afford this car, and others, by his lucrative YouTube videos. Also, he probably gets discounts from the car dealerships by mentioning them.

Not really, just making an educated guess.

Racer X has published a video updating the status of his Demon 170. Start at the 13:00 minute mark.

Dodge did an oil analysis and determined that there was a significant amount of metal in the oil and the engine is destroyed. As a result, Dodge will be providing a new replacement engine.

Note- The engine only had about 2,000 miles on it and the oil was changed every 23 passes.

Thanks for adding the update Tom. Oil was 'literally littered with metal'. The oil had not been changed since purchase (he claimed he was about to, perhaps prematurely due to his ethanol use).
