Finding for new wheels seems impossible...

Given this equation, is it even possible for me to find new wheels?

    Equation:
Nice wheels on regular cars these days x personality flaw that I always want something different xbudget limit of about $2,000-$2,500 x desire to find something somewhat retro x Brembo brake size constraint =Impossible to find new wheels

I've been through probably more than a dozen wheel websites and I still have not found anything with a price around $2,000-$2,500 per set I like enough to buy...

I want something retro, but I'm never been a fan of Cragars (when I was growing up all the Chevy's had Cragars... no Mopars had them, thus I don't like them). So, I'll take something with just a touch of retro...

What makes this hard is so many new cars (no matter the brand or how dreadfully awful the car is) have nice wheels. In days gone most OEMwheels sucked... not anymore; and I have this personality disorder that always wants something different than everything else.

So, I am now at a loss... I found one set I really like on Weld (S77), but they are $900 each! I am sure I am missing something or skipping over somethings, so I am asking for any suggestions. I thank you in advance!

What style were you thinking, 5 spoke, fancy bling?
5 spoke look at the Foose legend available in black chrome, I had the chrome ones as you can see from the pics I posted.
2 years ago I went with the TSW "Bristol" a black 5 spoke.
Just a couple of ideas for you, also check out the American Racing AR894, TSW Ascent

i have the 2010 classic wheels, yes they look like Crager but in my opinion they are the best looking ones for me. I am not a fan of these new fangle style wheels. back in the day when Sox and Martin ran their cars a lot of times they used the Keystone classic wheel,, now I just wish some one would make a replica of those in 20's. other than that I will keep what I got.

Well, I already have 5-spoke wheels so I am looking for something different. Also, I am tired of seeing most every Challenger out there with the Cragar look. Because I grew up with every Chevy in town having Cragars I just can't do those, but thanks for responding!!!

that's odd, around here all I see mostly is the new multi spoke wheels. , guess everywhere is different.

Yea, here in Central Illinois most Challengers have some derivative of an old school Cragar on them. I think they look good for sure, but around here they are kind of like a Vette to me... yea, they are great cars, but you see one coming down the road around every turn. As you can see from my car pictures I just have to be different... like I said in the original post--it's a personality flaw!!!
