Hello all I am new to the forum. I have been trolling through the threads for the last week. I bought a 2013 r/t six speed last Sunday. I have been reading the exhaust threads trying to determine the best route to go. I am not going to be spending big money on a kit. I am going to be driving the car a lot. I read a lot about people removing resonators and or mufflers. I am hoping to get some information on this. If removing just the mufflers or just the resonators- what are the pros and cons? Is there any power added or just sound? Which is louder? I would like it to be louder when I stomp on it but preferably not obnoxiously loud when idling through my neighborhood in the morning. ... Thank you all for reading this and I look forward to the discussion. John
cheapest way? knock off the resonators and put on some Magnaflows. what I did on mine when I got it, then a couple of years later got a solo Performance exhaust.
Electronic cutouts are the way to go. Turn them on going into car cruises and wake up the crowd. Close them when driving in your neighborhood. Who wants to start fights with neighbors.
Hello all it's been a while since i've been on actually like 5yrs. i had a different name. anyway i was blessed on father's day and my wife bought me a 2018 challenger rt with the blacktop package. My question is what's the cheapest way for me to upgrade the exhaust without spending an arm and a leg.
I have a 2013 rt and I swapped the mids with race bullets and I am very happy with it. I would go to your local events and listen to others like yours and ask what they have done.
Let us know if we can be of any assistance. We stock many options and offer discounts to the members here. Carven is coming out with a great looking resonator delete very soon. The Magnaflow axle back kit is a great lower cost option that sounds very good. message me if you would like a quote on anything
