A few guys around here have done it, sounds ok. you won't get a rumble sound but it is better than stock. I sold my factory cat back to a guy for $50.00 ( 6 months old) after changing mine.
did it on my first 2009 Challenger SE. had no problems with it and it bolted right on up, just had to change out the rear valance as back then we only had one exhaust outlet and going to dual exhaust, I had to get the RT valance. but that wasn't no big deal either as it swapped out also.
now , depending on what year you have as I remember, my wife's 2011 SE Rally had dual exhaust, it was the same as the RT hemi exhaust. so I would presume that since then they are putting the same exhaust package on all challenger Rt or SXT now. best thing to do though is cut off those rear resonators and that will get the sound out that you would be liking to. plus it is a cheaper route to take than getting a cat back system.
