Whats the latest you guys have heard on the SRT motor being changed to the 426? Im very leary to buy my TA in February if they are getting ready to bring the 426 back. But some places say its likely and others dont think it will happen.

Off the record, if you want a T/A go ahead and get it. If you want a 426 Hemi, maybe in a couple years and only in $RT versions of the cars. I do not see anything leaked out from Allpar or anywhere else yet, so I do not want to get in trouble for even any further comments. I work here and all I know is speculation at this point.

Check out the news today. New Hellcats called "Red Eye" info released to the public. Still no mention of that elusive 426 / 7.0L tho. You will be waiting a couple of years, and I doubt it will be available in the T/A even then. The new higher Hp stuff is SRT specific. The Scat Paks and such will get some upgrades, but not the new stuff. So, it would be several more years minimum before you could order a T/A with a 426. Might as well get one now and enjoy until the next gen comes out.

Try and imagine if you will, a supercharged 426 AWD on 305's all 4 tires at around 900 horsepower on the sales lot and than performance upgrading...

If this happens I will be trading in my Hellcat without a doubt...
