I would prefer the Hellcat style air box, but don’t know if I can make it work with the CAI I end up getting. I’m also not sure how that would work in the rain.

Would those two items work together and be all that I would need? I am again leaning towards getting the Mopar, as I would not be installing this myself. Today the dealer said they would install the Mopar for me, but he made it pretty clear they would not want to install any other aftermarket brand.

my mechanic at my dealer could care less what kind I have or get.... plus just telling you that they will charge shop price on install and that aint cheap..... guess that happens at small town dealers, you make friends and they will take care of you. they are usually pretty install friendly. you got to feel a need to turn a wrench every once in a while.....

all you got to do is find a you tube video of it,,, live and learn....

Yes they work together and yes that's all you need.

I agree!! Watch a youtube video or two... the install is not hard at all!

By chance, do you know if stevewhiteparts.com is a legitimate place to order from? They have what I need at a decent price, but I have never dealt with them.

I watched a YouTube video and the guy also had a couple screens for the hole in the light. D. I.P.S. he called them. Is that necessary? Are bugs and stuff an issue with the Hellcat adapter? What about driving in rain? Sorry for all the questions but I don’t want to make any mistakes.

I had the D.I.P.S. Screen when I first did the Hellcat box but I've since taken it off and went with Challenger Headlight Intake Rings from Merrick Motorsports. I prefer the look, and have not had any issues with bugs or such.

Anyone know where I can get the best price on Mopar parts? Is Steve White Parts a reputable place?
