tirestickers.com has them, on some they look pretty good, but other look pretty yucky with them, I would prefer original white lettering, since I have Firestone Indy 500 tires'
I used to run white letter tires on my 1984 Trans-Am and 1991 Z/28 but those were 15 inch. I would never run White Letters on my 2016 Challenger R/T Plus Blacktop Edition.
I DO!!! My first go @ it was to use Tire Penz & actually paint the letters/#'s. I have Atturo AZ850 275/40/20s on my Challenger, & I painted the "Atturo" & "AZ850" on the tires. Exactly, the "old school muscle car" look is what I was going for. I'm a retro guy anyway, & my car is an R/T Classic, so "white letter" tires falls right line in w/ my "theme". I think that I have @ least 1 pic in one of my profile albums, which anyone can view. I made the mistake of painting the letters/#'s before the tires got mounted (& more importantly) inflated. It cracked the paint all up, so I had to clean all of the paint off & do it again once the tires were on the car. It looks pretty good in my opinion, but just a little odd b/c of the lesser sidewall of these newer style tires. The Tire Penz paint will have to be touched up once in a while & will have to be fully re-applied over time. Remains to be seen how long the paint will last. The product "says" that it is safe to take through the car wash... We shall see about that. The custom glue-on tire decals are made in different sizes, so there might be a size that works well (& is in better proportion with) the "shorter/narrower" sidewall tires.
I AM!!!I recently bought & had installed 4 Atturo AZ850 275/40/20s, & I painted the letters/#'s white using Tire Penz before the tires were mounted. That was a mistake. In hindsight, I should have anticipated the inflating of the tires potentially cracking the paint. So, I cleaned all of the first application off, then reapplied 3 coats (4 or 5 would be better, but 3 gives pretty solid coverage) to the letters/#'s after the tires were on my car. I like it, it looks pretty damn good in my opinion, even though the tires are the newer lower profile sidewall style. I've always been a "white letter tire" guy, & it fits in well w/ my 2014 Challenger R/T Classic's retro theme. I do have a pic of 1 of my new tires (before they were mounted) after I had painted them. It's in 1 of my albums in my profile on this forum. I still need to take & post pics of the painted tires now that hey're on my car. The glue-on tire decals come in different sizes, so you might be able to find a size that's in good proportion with the height of your tires' sidewall. Good luck w/ this project & Rock On!
