Reverse Radio?

    Is my radio supposed to turn on when I put my car in reverse? Is that a setting or is something screwed up?

    I wonder if it would worth it to have a dealer look at it? It doesn’t really bother me.

    Yeah, it sounds like something is definitely NOT right w/ that situation. Definitely have someone look at it.

    Car is less than 2 years old with barely over 10,000 miles. I think I am still covered, but will find out tomorrow.

    basic warranty is 3 years/ 36,000 miles.....bumper to bumper

    I checked this in my '15 which has the Uconnect 3C Nav radio/8.4 display. My display is always on but there's no physical on/off switch for the radio, just the mute button, so I couldn't simulate.
    I was thinking that maybe its something with a backup camera if you have one?

    The backup camera comes on if the display screen is shut off, and the radio also comes on. It may actually be working the way it is supposed to. I'm really not sure.
