Issue: 5.7 Hemi's dropping valve seats.

Did Mopar ever fix this issue in the newer Hemi's? If so, when and how?

Mopar won't comment because they claim it's not an issue.

The only thing I heard was some 08 and 09 Chargers with the 6.1 having that problem.

Crazy how Mopar things its not a problem as I did a fun search and there are several links that came up that had several people complaining about it.

    111k on my 2006 300C.

This comes down to engines overheating from everything I've read. Not saying it's foolproof, but the people who drop valve seats in any engine (not just 5.7/6.1/6.2/6.4's) more often than not have beat the piss out of the engine without caring for it as much as they claim they have and have overheated the engine to cause the pressed in seats to drop as the metal expands.

    Just my .02
