If anyone has the blue Mopar Cold Air Intake Filter, here are the cleaning instructions:

And here are the cleaning instructions that came with the Mopar T/A Cold Air Intake system that I installed in my ‘15 SRT. My filter is also blue but requires oiling.

Any horsepower gains with that Mopar CAI? I would like to add one but people tell me you get great noise but no added power. Could this possibly be true?

I bought one for the looks and sound. The stock air filter box on the SRT is pretty efficient, so I probably gained a negligible increase in horsepower, if any.

IMG_2578.JPG I added the T/A-style CAI to my '15 SRT primarily as an appearance mod. I can't even tell you that I noticed a change in the sound over the stock airbox.

I don't even think Dodge knows whether there's a horsepower gain or not.

The Challenger T/A's had a Cold Air Intake system that draws air from the hood opening and the left headlight (prior to the current R/T Scat Pack hood borrowed from the previous version of the Hellcat). Yet, it had the same 485 HP rating as the other 392's.

However, the Hellcat Redeye HP supposedly increased due to a redesign of the hood allowing more air to get to the engine.

Make sure you purchase the correct replacement filter for the T/A cai.
This is the correct Mopar OEM #68322213aa for the filter on the T/A.
I made the mistake of ordering the wrong filter. Looking up the filter online gives you a different part number...
    68256672AA
which will NOT fit the T/A cai box.

I recall Mopar Action noted a verifiable power increase with a CAI on their SRT8 Magnum.

It's interesting to note that the original 2006 Challenger SRT concept had a CAI.
