definitely improves the sound, and as others have mentioned they're super heavy

I agree that Youtube videos don't help much when trying to make up your mind about exhaust mods. Exhaust mods are among the most nerve-racking for me. Always have been. Every vehicle has it's own exhaust "personality" as I call it and nowadays factory systems are far more complicated (read: more components). This makes it harder for you to come up with the final configuration since there's simply more combinations of components to try. Sometimes it's a crap-shoot and/or a leap of faith based on what the exhaust shop recommends. Obviously, the best way is to listen to someone's car that's the same as yours but how often can people do that?
I was lucky with my Mustang GT and Cobra. An exhaust shop I dealt with had a lot of experience with Mustangs and both their recommendations were spot-on! Unfortunately, when I moved to Delaware and wanted to do an exhaust for my Dodge Durango I didn't have a network of shops I knew so I just went to the best one I could find based on recommendations from other local shops.
It took 3 different configurations but we finally found a setup that I liked. Luckily, the shop was willing to work with me.
