I just tried to confirm my "15 RT Plus has the current SW on the 8.4AN radio. The Uconnect site indicates (based on my VIN) that if I have either the version 18.45.xx or 18.50.xx no further action is needed. My system SW is 18.11.07. The Uconnect site lists a bunch of software versions (16.xx.xx and 17.xx.xx versions) that should update to the 18.45.01 and some others (version 17.37.31 and 18.01.35) that should update to 18.50.35. Mine isn't even listed. Anyone else with a 2015 RT Plus with the 8.4AN have this problem? I thought the '15's and newer will give you an over the air message to update when needed. Based on everything I'm reading on this site about Uconnect issues, I hesitate to do anything. My GPS is accurate, the date/time and bluetooth also work okay.

Other than calling Uconnect to make sure you don't need an update, if everything is working, I wouldn't do anything.
Had the same issue and a couple months later the radio died and had to be replaced. Since replacement, I've had no odd performance issues.
Update : On Monday 1 - 27 - 2020 dealer installed new Radio navigation unit . So far everything is working fine .
The GPS on my 2016 Challenger RT Plus works when it wants to. I sometimes try to blame it on my I phone and U Connect. It has a mind of it's own. I could never get it download any updates. It would always give me a drive error from the flash drive. Very frustrating. I think it remains in Ga. most of time. The little red icon looks like it's driving where there are no roads! LOL
