Challenger Exhaust Tips

    The new Challenger that debuted in 2008 was so faithful to the original 1970 model. But, I always wondered why the designers chose 'Cuda-style exhaust tips instead of the quads found on the original Challenger. A curious note is that quads were on the 2006 Challenger concept.

    Never thought about it but now that you mention it, never been a fan of quad tips. I prefer round or rectangular.

    Quad tips made my car a little louder, even though I was told they wouldn't.

    That's one reason why I shy away from aftermarket systems. They all seem to use quad round tips and I hate that look.

    the mopar quad tips gave mine a little more of a exhaust note also....

    Any tip that flares out like the quad tip will amplify the exhaust to some degree.

    Was thinking of converting to a four tip system. I am fairly new to the challenger world. How much do they generally cost to purchase and have installed? And on another note need a good product to remove swirls from the poor detail job the dealer did eeerrrr.
