Does anyone know how to play DVD's while driving? Mine will only play when the emergency brake is on. :Frustrated:
    Thanks,
    John

it will cost you around $250... called a lock-pick... others know more about it...
it unlocks the navigation unit as well so that you can entire addresses, etc, while moving.
Question of how bad you want it, I guess. :)

I'm sure some on here can enlighten you more, but sent you a link to a great thread that shows the install procedure if you decide to do it yourself.

Though I doubt you'd want to do it (at all, or at least not very often)... it's been submitted that slight pressure on the emergency brake pedal
will also override this... makes you think "there's gotta be a way" to offset that... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.... anybody?

    Yep, the lockpick.
You also gain the ability to add cameras and play ipod video as well.

You need a MyGig radio with the touch screen. I got an older version of Lockpick and saved over $100. I haven't played a DVD yet. I just use it for my camera. I don't have an iPod, so I can't tell you about playing videos.
