    Exactly!

Which IS what we want, isn't it? Better than the over one million 'new' mustangs that are already on the road.

I was so let Down when Chrysler let the Plymouth line go. It was heartbreaking.. I knew that meant that when they were going to reintroduce the E-Bodies, The 'Cudas and the Challengers. That they wouldn't produce the 'Cudas. That broke me heart! If they do produce the 'Cudas. I'll be really Happy! As one that owns a original Plymouth 'Cuda. I feel everyone should know that True special feeling.. I hope they do it justice!! One day I hope to have my 'Cuda restored. This year at The Midwest's largest Old Car show. In Iola, WI. They featuring orphans.. Like the Plymouth's!! I was asked to show mine. But due to bad luck, hardships and all, me & my 'Cuda got Cancer!! But we both hope to be restored and roar once more!!

Fox News (Feb. 20) has reported that the the 2014 'Cuda will not be a retro design. Sounds like the 'Cuda will be similar to the 2012 Charger and the Camaro- a modern interpretation of the original with a few styling cues from the past. Too bad.

The April 2012 issue of Motor Trend had this to say about the 2014 'Cuda:

"Gilles' Barracuda will be a far less literal interpretation of its namesake, which featured three separate body style designs from 1964 to 1974. They, potentially, provide a lot of styling cues for the new car which avoided a retro look.

Ralph always wanted to do a new Barracuda, one well-placed source tells us. We'd bet onCchrysler badging the Barracuda with the SRT brand name, like the new Viper, rather than using Dodge or resurrecting the Plymouth name. Another source says the new RWD platform also would serve a lineup of Alfa Romeos, including a sports car, a coupe, and a sport sedan, and would help move that brand into BMW territory.

Revelations of a new RWD Chrysler-Fiat platform represent a hugh reversal of attitude. With help from advancements in traditional internal combustion technology, including Chrysler's 8-speed automatic for longitudinal uses, RWD has a future."
