If you are on street tires, you shouldn't go higher than 2200 rpm on launch control.

and yes, if steering angle changes too much, it will cancel

On mine, it just gives you a bunch of wheel spin.....I've only used to 2 or 3 times just seeing what it would do.....I can do better foot braking it

I think mine is set at 2500 rpm. I read somewhere that starting with it in manual in 2nd gear then slap it in auto once rolling. I may try it again this weekend if it ever stops raining. By the look of the weather coming it will soon be time to put her away for its winter nap.

Wide body Hellcats are tough enough getting traction but non-wide bodies are just ridiculous, especially on the street. Even running drag radials only makes a minimal difference. Regarding using launch control, I've never tried it but unless launch control changes manual shift parameters you can't select 2nd gear until you're moving.

Funny you should mention that. Mustangs and Challengers are so plentiful down here you'd think guys would be racing all the time but I really never see it. I've never had anybody but BMWs trying to race me here.
