It's amazing how the first run of the Challenger lasted 5 model years and now this run which started back in 2008 has continued to the current model and still kept the original concept, just with different options of it.

I think it speaks to a couple key points:
    1. The 1970 Barracuda/Challenger was a timeless design.
    2. Baby Boomers remember the design fondly and have the money to buy the car.

I always get comments from people on how impressed they are that Dodge stayed with the retro look compared to Ford and Chev.

Gotta say, I get just as many thumbs up and positive comments about my car as I used to get with my Cobra.

We receive MANY more comments on our car than we did on either of the Vettes we had.

Agree, I get a lot of comments and thumbs up. Now, what about when passing other Challenger drivers? Do they wave or give ya a thumbs up? Do you give them one first?
Around here, its normal for guys in classic cars to give a wave or thumbs up when they pass, always.
When I do that with current model Challengers I swear half of 'em give me a look like "do I know you?" or "who are you?"
    Just curious.

    I wave.
    Most don't wave in return.

Never heard of anybody waving besides Jeeps at least.
