Sounds dumb but I'm looking for good quality floor mats. I had Lloyd's before but I wasn't happy with the way they wore out early. My heel put a divot and then wore a hole in the fibers under my gas foot and the car had only 3,500 miles on it. I hate rubber buckets (Weather Tech style) living in the south but I really hate to spend big bucks and find they wear out prematurely. Any good one's people have found?

I was thinking about ordering a set of Lloyds for our Durango .... until I read your post.

When I've bought aftermarket mats in the past, I've always looked for ones that have a vinyl/leather/frogahyde heel pad. I have a set in my daily driver that are easily 10 years old and are still holding up. I think they came from Pep Boys. But I do remember them reeking of cheap plastic or cheap dyes when I got them. I had to leave them in the garage for a few days to let them air out.

I have a set of WeatherTech mats for my Challenger but only use them on trips where we're going to be in-and-out of the car frequently. Like you, I'm just not a fan of the look of "rubber buckets." I might feel different if I didn't live in Florida.

Hate the rubber mats too. I usually get factory carpeted mats but I haven't really looked for mats for the Challenger yet, although the factory ones leave a lot to be desired for sure.;)

Took a few minutes last night to shop for mats. The factory mats are cheap and there isn't any nice carpeted ones out there. Tons of rubber ones though. Was way easier finding nice ones for my Cobra.

I use the factory carpeted mats from May through October then switch to Weather Tech for the winter. Nothing worse than trying to get white crusty road salt off the carpet. The Weather Tech mats do a great job keeping the carpet clean until Spring comes around.

That's a first. Never met anyone who had summer and winters mats.

Close .... no snow in Florida (although it is 2020??!!) but I use the factory SRT mats around town and for Cruise-Ins and Shows and switch to the WeatherTechs for trips.
