Never planned on retiring in Florida but we're blessed to be living in such a beautiful area. Of course I could do without the face-melting heat and humidity in the summer and the constant rains but I guess you have to take the good with the bad!;)

    Funny you should mention that...
When we were under contract to buy the place, I played a number of pranks on the seller. He's a HUGE Corvette fan. Actually had 4 in the one garage on 2 lifts! Anyway, at the time I had my Cobra down here but my Challenger back up in Delaware so I would sneak over to the house and take pictures of my Cobra in his driveway and send them to him in emails and texts! I even had a Ford Cobra ballcap sent to him! Him and his wife live a couple miles from us and we're great friends now. He just got a new C8 Corvette in virtually the same color as my Challenger and I'm looking forward to driving it.

It looks like there’s a receptacle up above the drain line behind your car. Are you going to put a battery tender on it? I assume that’s a below grade parking spot, you may want to throw some bags of desiccant in her to absorb any moisture inside. I put 1 in the trunk and three up front. I don't put my SRT away for the winter, but I pick and choose which days to drive it. If the roads have snow, ice or salt on them, it stays in my driveway. Luckily, the snowfall has not been too bad in NJ over the past few years.

Using desiccant packs may actually be working against you. Proper use for silica gel packs is for controlling moisture in "sealed" air spaces. They absorb moisture rather quickly and hold it until heated to boil it off. In a ventilated space like your car, they will absorb their fill within an hour or so and then simply hold it.
