My wife grew up in Savannah -- not too far from Wormsloe Plantation and the Intracoastal Waterway so we've spent a lot of time there. But rarely as a tourist. My in-laws still lived in Savannah until they retired in 2007(?) and moved to the country near Sylvania. Before they moved we were in Savannah about once a month. We did a LOT of fishing with my father-in-law so they were always fun trips.

The trip we made in 2018 was for my wife's high school reunion so we made it a fun weekend and stayed at a B&B and did the tourist stuff ... Byrd's Cookie Factory, Dolphin Viewing cruise, sightseeing, etc. And as my SRT 392 has a 6-speed, I was glad to have Hill Start Assist when I came up the cobblestone street from River Street.

I agree, it's a nice place to visit. A group of us from our local Mopar club (Jacksonville Area Mopars or JAM) made a weekend trip last year. Most wanted to do Ghost Walks and pub crawl but a couple of slid over to Rincon, GA for their Saturday Night Cruise-In at the Dairy Queen. Nice turnout - nothing huge - and a few very cool Mopars.

Yeah, we stayed in a B&B and did the ghost walk/pub crawl. Toured a real nice old home and took a river tour. The river walk area is very nice and you're right about the cobblestone street that comes up from the river. Something like a 40ft elevation change in a hundred feet or so? Crazy! Have you seen the lobby at the JW Marriott? Incredible!
