Did you ever wonder why the design of the inaugural 2008 Challenger was based on the 1970 model instead of the 1971 model? Read what the Dodge designers had to say.
Thanks for sharing. The biggest modern day short coming for me was not designing it in such a way as to allow for a wider within fender rear wheel. The non LSD in the early automatics is also a major shortcoming. I'm in my 2010 only because the previous owner spent a lot on mods and it made sense at the depreciated price (traded a 2012 370z on it). Love the tail light design on mine compared to the newer change (just did the sequential kit which I'm very pleased with). Also have the E&G window louver on route. Would rather be in a C6 ZR1 but can't justify the cost and would only be less pleased with the mileage. The Challenger is growing on me! There isn't any info. on yours in your profile?
I have 5 pages of photos. See: Media for user: SRT-Tom | Dodge Challenger Forum You are right about the early Challengers not having LSD. In 2009, however, it was added to the SRTs, like mine.
