    That sucks, really doesn’t surprise me though. I hope to hang on to this V8 for many years!

    I think Dodge could postpone the demise of the V8 by adopting more modern technology. In other words, dump the pushrods. A move to a DOHC design would allow them to meet emissions and CAFE regulations in the short term at the very least.
