A “bolt-on” car generally suggests mods are limited to anything except internal engine mods, so there’s a whole lot that could be done to these cars. At one point he actually asks the Hellcat driver what he has done to his car but I couldn’t make it out. My guess would be a pulley swap and tune? The Mustang driver has a blower running 20lbs of boost and a tune among other mods I’m sure so it’s obviously powerful but my guess is the engine won’t tolerate that kind of abuse much longer before he’s buying another engine.
OK.....ANY thing bolts on.....including a complete motor swap but comparing a heavily modded mustang (bolt on or not) to a basically stock hellcat.....whatever.....
True. That’s the problem when you start comparing modded vehicles, especially online. You really have no idea what you’re seeing. Hell, it could honestly be two totally stock cars and they’re just faking the whole thing.
I have a friend who's in his mid-70s and just picked up a 2020 (maybe 21) Hellcat Redeye (Smoke Show) to satisfy his "speed tooth." It replaces a '56 Chevy that had a 383 stroker and a Weiand blower when he got it .... and a "built" 350 when he sold it.
