Yeah, definitely bikers. Although we never waved to Harleys.

BMW? Hell no! Never a BMW fan. But I like Harleys even less. I was riding dirt bikes at 10. Racing by 12. By 15 I started building my first street bike, a Kawasaki A7SS. For years I only rode 2-strokes. Kawasaki H1's and H2's and Yamaha RD's and RZ's. Finally, I jumped to a Honda 750 and stayed with 4-strokes for a number of years until I got my Suzuki Katana 1100. Then I started scrounging up old H1's again and rebuilding them. In '94 after 20+ years of riding, jumping and racing, I broke my neck in 6 places in a minor motorcycle accident putting around a field in West Virginia. I had 7 bikes at the time but my wife said no more motorcycles so that was that. After I got out of the halo, I took my bikes for one last ride then sold them all.

I try to look at them as we enter the visual range. If they look I flash some form of nonverbal greeting. Quite often they aren't even looking. But for those that do we often exchange satisfaction smiles and some brotherly approval. We know what we have.

^^^ I sure like the rear side view photo of the Go Mango. Looks familiar, although the wheels sure have changed. small (1).JPG
