    Hello all.

My wife's 2010 SRT8. The A/C sometimes cools and sometimes it does not. It could be working while driving and after I stop at a store and turn it back on, it's warm, and vice versa. Any ideas? thx

Confirm whether the compressor is on when it seems to be blowing warm. Good possibility the compressor is not running when the system is blowing warm. At that point, you can diagnose the intermittent compressor. One thing comes to mind but not sure if your car has it; a compressor cut-out switch on the power steering system. These switches are used to momentarily cut-off the A/C compressor at times of high power steering load such as when maneuvering in a parking lot. If these switches malfunction, they can inhibit compressor operation intermittently.

Can be anywhere in the power steering fluid circuit. Many are built into the steering rack.
