How often does your wife drive your Challenger?

Since I have owned my 2009 SRT, she has only driven it once. That was back in December 2008. She is an SUV person and has no desire to drive a muscle car. Personally, I think that she is afraid of it.

I'm not married but my eventual wife drives mine probably 8 or nine times a week. She doesn't get into like I do but she likes having power on tap for passing and pulling out into traffic. But then she gets in her car and laments over how much slower it is. I offered her the solution of buying a v6 and supercharging it since she drives way more miles than I do a week (32k in 10 months) she would still have the oomph but get better mpg on highway....she also is an suv lover but she might be coming around.

My wife doesn't drive much at all since we retired but she did enjoy driving the R/T when we bought it. She thought it was a little too large compared to our other cars but she liked it and would not hesitate to get behind the wheel again.

My wife has driven my current Challenger once ... and that was just to prove to herself that she still could drive a manual transmission.

When I had my 2011 Challenger R/T, she drove it a handful of times when necessary. She definitely preferred the sight lines out of her 2013 Charger R/T over the Challenger's.

Mine is easy to remember... ZERO. In the 4.5 years I've had the car, she hasn't even sat behind the wheel let alone back it out of the garage. She had always driven my mundane company cars before I retired, but not the R/T. I've offered but she keeps saying no. Might have something to do with either never driving my 69 Camaro or the long burnout I did with the Challenger when I first got it. :D

My Wife loved driving my '70 'Cuda back in high school (yeah, we were dating in high school) but she's shied away from all my sports cars and muscle cars since then. Oddly, the single exception was my custom '03 Mustang GT 5-speed which she drove once. Never drove my Cobra. She drove the Challenger once the day I bought it but not since.
She's an SUV person for sure. She loved our Durango and Jeep Wrangler and seems to like our Lexus now.

I met my wife in high school too! Come to think of it, she drove my 69 Firebird a lot when we were in college. I guess we satisfied their need for speed early in the relationship.

If Leah was your wife, would you let her drive your Challenger?
