Interesting article but you would think the dealership would know what was going on. This guy had to have been a stand-out month after month, year after year in comparison to the other sales reps. That should have raised a red flag. Maybe the owner of the dealership and new car sales manager also had financial gains from this.

Resourceful fellow. I guess sociopaths never think they're going to get caught.

Super discounts? When something is too good to be true, something is wrong.

Typical of any big business (see government) No one cares about what's going on, too busy making that paycheck,

Interesting. I had no idea that employee discounts were real.

I'm kind of surprised that FCA cared though. Selling cars is selling cars. I doubt they'd have an employee discount that actually cost the company money...

    Employees aren't *that* valuable

Employee pricing dates back decades. FoMoCo has an X Plan and A Plan for employees and their direct family.

That's not what I meant. Like I had no idea that the discounts were really worth anything. X-Plan is also affiliates btw. I used it for my Edge ST but I have no direct relationship to anyone at Ford.

A good friend of mine worked at Ford and got some great deals using the A plan. I couldn't come close to matching his pricing as a individual buyer.

I could have used A plan pricing when we purchased our 2014 FX4. Why I didn't do it, I have no clue? Age, I suppose?
