    Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between 2012 and 2015 front seat side air bags? I know they are a different part number but it may only be a difference in plug or some minor change. I am looking at a set of seats that had blown air bags and have a set of 2012 bags from a set of seats I am putting in an older car and have no need for them. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't want to buy anything if I will need to chase down airbags too as they are a fortune. Thanks, Dan

Forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject, the seat has an airbag?

Not sure if this will help, but try the website "car-parts.com". Drill down to either year and see if the airbag is listed for mutli-year vehicles. The salvage - parts yards have a great cross reference. This site is nationwide.

the newer models do have side airbags in the seats to help cushion a side impact. there is usually a small sag sewn in the seam of the seat cover that will say air bag.
