Same here, but I heard that normal condensation can also cause this problem. I hope not. My 2009 SRT is in pristine condition.

Right, you would think they would have corrected this but from the response I got , this is unheard of from Dodge. According to them, no cars are rusting. All this is about is preplanned obsolescence on steroids. And it’s such an easy fix. I predict, from what I’ve been reading, all this, the Challengers , Chargers will all be gone within the next two , three years. The French who took it over want to go full bore electric. Look how fast they nixed the SRT division. So, their interest in correcting this rust problem is nonexistent. More importantly, they really don’t care.

Canada, Jersey, New York? Snow/salt. Your cars have been falling apart due to rust for ages. We don't want any more of yas coming out west. Snowbirds have the answer. If ya can't enjoy that Mopar for just a short while without worrying about rust and such move to NV,

Sorry, it's where you live that causes most of the issues, not Stellantis. You bought it knowing at some time (no matter the make) there would be a related weather issue

^^^ That's very true but the company knows this as well and doesn't have to contribute to the problem. If an area of the car is known to rust prematurely, then address it instead of denying it.

Now, now, Mike, let's be kind to those less fortunate than we are. :)

Thanks for the update! I own a 2013 Challenger R/T, right side rotting! New England weather and a daily driver, have to fix it soon!

This is not a Challenger only problem. I own a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same problem. I have had to do rust repair on both sides and found the foam behind the rust. I'm glad my Challenger rarely gets out in bad weather.
