    For you newbies, here is a list of the most common acronyms used on Challengerforum.com.

    A5 = 5 speed automatic
    A8 = 8 speed automatic
    ABS = Antilock Brake System
    AEV = Active Exhaust Valves
    AFR = Air Fuel Ratio
    AT = Automatic Transmission
    ATF = Automatic Transmission Fluid
    AWD = All Wheel Drive
    Axle Back = Exhaust system after the rear axle

    B5 = B5 Blue Color
    BCM = Body Control Module
    Blower = Supercharger (See also SC)
    BOV = Blow Off Valve
    Brembo 4 = 4 Piston Brembo Brakes
    Brembo 6 = 6 Piston Brembo Brakes

    CAI= Cold Air Intake
    Cats = Catalytic Converters
    Cat Back = Exhaust system after the Catalytic Converter
    Catted Mids = Midpipes with Catalytic Converters built in
    CDV = Clutch Delay Valve
    CEL = Check Engine Light
    COP = Coil On Plug

    DCG = Drivers Convenience Group Package
    DD = Daily Driver
    DI = Direct Injection/Direct Fuel Injection
    DR= Drag Radials
    DRLs = Daytime Running Lights
    DS = Drive Shaft
    DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code

    ECT = Engine Coolant Temp
    EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation
    EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature
    EHPS = Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering
    ESC = Electronic Stability Control
    EVIC = Electronic Vehicle Information Center

    F8 = F8 Green Color
    FCA = Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
    FI = Forced Induction or Fuel Injection
    FM = Friction Modifier
    Forged = Adding Forged internal engine parts to replace weaker cast parts. Most notably Forged Pistons
    FSM = Factory Service Manual
    FWD = Front-Wheel Drive

    Gen3 or GenIII = 3rd generation Hemi Engine
    Getrag = Limited Slip Differential

    HC= Hellcat
    HEMI = Hemispherical combustion chambers
    HID = High Intensity Discharge Headlights
    HF Cats = High Flow Catalytic Converters
    HLA = Hydraulic Lash Adjuster
    HU = Head Unit
    HUD = Heads-Up Display
    HVAC = Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning

    IAT = Intake Air Temperature
    ICE = Internal Combustion Engine
    IFS = Independent Front Suspension
    iDFSO = Interactive Decel Fuel Shut-Off
    IRS = Independent Rear Suspension

    LA = 2015- Current Challenger Platform
    LC = 2008-2014 Challenger Platform
    LCA = Lower Control Arm
    LHD = Left Hand Drive
    LSA = Lobe Separation Angle (Camshaft)
    LSD = Limited Slip Differential
    LT = Long Tube Headers

    M6 = 6 speed manual
    MAP = Manifold Air Pressure (IE: MAP Sensor)
    MF = Microfiber (C'mon now, get your head out of the gutter! )
    Mids = Mid Mufflers or Mid Pipes
    MDS = Multi Displacement System
    MIL = Malfunction Indicator Light
    MOPAR= Combination of the words MOtor and PARts. Parts, service and customer care organization within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
    MT = Manual Transmission
    MY = Model Year

    NA = Naturally Aspirated
    NAG/NAG1 = 5 speed automatic transmission (New Automatic Gearbox 1 [1st Generation])
    NOS = Nitrous Oxide or Nitrous Oxide System
    NVH = Noise, Vibration, and Harshness

    O2s = Oxygen Sensors
    OCI = Oil Change Interval

    PCM = Powertrain Control Module
    PCP = Plum Crazy Purple/Plum Crazy Pearl color
    PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation (IE: PCV Valve)
    PDC= Power Distribution Center
    PDI = Pre-Delivery Inspection
    PN = Part Number
    POC = Priced Order Confirmation
    PP = Performance Pages
    PPF = Paint Protection Film
    PSI = Pounds per Square Inch

    Raisin Bran Hood = New "Two Scoop" Hellcat hood
    Reps = Replica Wheels (IE: Hellcat Reps, Demon Reps)
    Res Delete = Resonator Delete
    RHD = Right Hand Drive
    RWD = Rear Wheel Drive
    RWHP = Rear Wheel Horsepower

    SA = Spark Advance
    SC = Supercharged, or Supercharger
    SG or SGII = Sound Group, Audio System
    Shaker = Shaker Hood Scoop
    SI/DO = Single In, Dual Out muffler design
    SI/SO = Single In, Single Out muffler design
    Six Pack = Three two-barrel carburetors
    SP = Scat Pack
    SPAG = Scat Pack Appearance Group
    SPS = Scat Pack Shaker
    SPWB = Scat Pack Wide Body
    Squirters = Nozzles that squirt oil under the piston to keep them cooler
    SRS = Supplemental Restraint System
    SRT = Street & Racing Technology (High Performance Group Of FCA)
    STP = Super Track Pak
    ST or Shorties or Shortys = Shorty Headers

    TCM = Transmission Control Module
    TIPM = Totally Integrated Power Module
    TB = Throttle Body
    TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System
    TSB = Technical Service Bulletin
    TW = Treadwear

    UCA = Upper Control Arm
    UOA = Used Oil Analysis

    VIN = Vehicle Identification Number
    VON = Vehicle Order Number
    VVT = Variable Valve Timing

    WB = Wide Body
    WBSP = Wide Body Scat Pack
    WBSPS = Wide Body Scat Pack Shaker
    WIN Module = Wireless Ignition Node
    WOT = Wide Open Throttle

    ZF = Manufacturer of 8 Speed Automatic Transmission (2015+) (See also A8), and 2015+ Rear Differentials

    5.0 = Uconnect 5" Head Unit
    7.0= Uconnect 7" Head Unit
    8.4 = Uconnect 8.4" Head Unit

    NOS = also stands for New Old Stock referring to NEW, Un-Used Old Part found on the shelf
    and
    MOPAR= should NEVER be used in the same sentence with Fiat

    The Worse thing I hate seeing is younger ages calling the Challengers - Chally? Houston we have a problem!!!
